Approximately 90% of patients suffer from type 2 diabetes. Sudden raise in the blood glucose levels due to placental hormones, during pregnancy leads Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. In addition to this, Type 3 Diabetes Mellitus is portrayed by the insulin resistance to brain which leads to Alzheimer’s disease.
